Project end
It’s a wrap! Everything is installed and running as desired.
All the goals have been met, a low maintenance 24/7 running system which automatically updates (hands-off) and runs some (private) services. It was fairly easy to set-up although some time was lost because around when the project started the Raspberry Pi OS move to aarch64 was in full swing delaying somethings on the Arch Linux ARM side. But that is over now. While the Linux 5.10.X is still in beta for Arch Linux ARM it runs smooth as butter and everything seems to work.
Unfortunately the same things seems to be happening to InfluxDB which moved from 1.X to 2.X with breaking changes. Alas if one want to keep up-to-date some manual intervention will likely always remain required. Oh well…
